Phillip Crowder I've been anticipating something closer to a full album from Thrall and I got what I was looking for! Though not quite as heavy as his previous work, it still is great semi heavy ambiance music. I din't realize until talking to the artist that it's recorded kinda like a live album off his cell phone, so bravo on creativity! You can hear occasional background noise, but I think it adds a sense of chaos to the already chaotic and ever changing music of Thrall. Favorite track: Invocation I: Descend.

I speak gravel from the throat and have onyx for eyes All I see is darkness And all my voices turned to coal Renounce the Light Renounce the Dark All will be absence All encompassing lack I have always been the void Only now knowing the purpose in the lack of purpose I bleed into the earth and the earth bleeds into me A prison we wrought and who holds the key this place was built for me just cut down the skin to fit a n d w i t h a l l m y b l o o d i ' l l s l i d e r i g h t i n a n d w i t h a l l o u r b l o o d w e ' l l s l i d e r i g h t i n

about

A living document of improvised ritual. For my own uses more than to be perused. Completely unedited and unplanned.

about

Thrall Colorado

"And I declared that the dead,
who had already died,
are happier than the living,
who are still alive.
But better than both
is the one who has never been born,
who has not seen the evil
that is done under the sun.
And I declared that all toil and all
achievement spring from one
person's envy of another.
This too is meaningless,
a chasing after the wind."
